Our own fonts
Type Brief is run by the team behind Creatype Studio, a type foundry. Some fonts we recommend are ours. We always say so (you’ll see “by Creatype Studio” next to them), and they only make a list when they genuinely fit the job. Every list also includes fonts from other designers.
Ads
We show ads from Google AdSense. Advertisers don’t see our articles before they go live and never decide what we recommend.
What doesn’t change
Commissions don’t decide our picks. If a font or tool isn’t good for what you’re making, we won’t recommend it, whoever pays more.
